July nutrition for your face-BLUEBERRY TOFU SMOOTHIE

To aid in combating the harsh effects of the summer sun, why not think about adding nutrition to your regimen.  Here is my recipe for a great way to aid good nutrition with soy to your diet.

Blueberry-Tofu Smoothie
Prep:  5 minutes
Total time: 5 minutes
Makes 1 serving

1 cup of frozen blueberries
1/2 cup  (4 ounces) silken tofu
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
1/2 cup crushed ice
1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey

In a blender, combine ingredients; blend until smooth.  Yield 2 cups.

Serivng size:  2 cups
Calories 271; Fat 4.1 g (sat 0.5g; mono 0.7g; poly 2.2g); Cholesterol 0mg; Protein 7g; Carbohydrate 56g;
Sugars 48g; Fiber 4g; Iron 1mg; Sodium 22mg; Calcium 68mg

Look for simple places to swap soy in for other foods and drinks.  Soy milk is a great alternative for the lactose intolerant.
